Why are some Ewa Beach, Oahu rentals so cheap?

I’ve been looking at craiglist for home rentals in the Ewa beach part of Oahu and they’re unusually cheap… So I’m just wondering is it a bad location and nobody wants to live there or what?

The main reason is the traffic. If you work in Ewa Beach or Kapolei it isn’t so bad, but if you work in Mililani, Honolulu, etc.. it can be a nightmare, especially along Ft Weaver Rd first thing in the morning. You are also in the flight line of the Honolulu Int’l Airport so it can be noisy at times in some areas.
